Grandma Came to Visit

Grandma came to visit and Emily is thrilled.

We were hoping to take Emily with us when we went to the local buffet for dinner but she is still a little under the weather. Emily has had some blood in her urine and we have yet to figure out what the problem is.

In the meantime Grace is being Grace. She enjoys pondering words and this week she wanted to know what the word BLIMP meant. I described a blimp to her, its a flying balloon, and told her what it was used for. Then I asked her why she wanted to know but she wouldn’t tell me. So I figured that she may have heard it as a slang word on school on the playground. I talked to her about how sometimes kids tease each other and they might call a chunky person a blimp. And then I told her it isn’t nice to call someone a blimp. She thought about that and then said to me, “Well, you’re just a little blimp mom.” HA! Great…..

I got to baking some more today. Maybe this is a little fun. I’m going to give Paula Dean a run for her money!

I made these sweet rolls from scratch, my own recipe. They turned out YUMMY! I put raisins in 1/2 of them as I like raisins but Grace doesn’t.
