52 Week Blessing Challenge – Week 5 My Husband

I’m so blessed to have a husband who stands by my side. He is such a miracle worker. If I’ve broken anything, or something needs replacing or upgrading, HE can do it!

He has made things for me (recently he made the beater bar for my table weaving loom), he feeds the horses in the evening because I’m pretty busy taking care of Emily at that time, and he even does our laundry when I it looks like it needs tending.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings my sweet husby makes breakfast for all of us. He cooks up bacon or sausage, sometimes both, makes some hash browns, and then fries up eggs for an “eggerito”, omelett, over easy, or to put into a sausage muffin sandwich. He is one good breakfast cook.

After breakfast he goes in to Emily’s room and talks with her, making her smile. He knows how to cheer her up, making elephant noises and pretending to call Lumpy (from Winnie the Pooh).

After working full-time all week he comes home and works in the yard. He takes care of our neighbor’s yard as well as our own yard. The grass gets cut, and thatched, and then he’s out with the weed-wacker to make sure all the edges are beautiful. Wowziers, my husband is truly a blessing!
