Lithotripsy

In the last couple of days we’ve had more information about the kidney stones Emily has been suffering with. I spoke with the urologist yesterday. The stone is in her right kidney and is 6mm LARGE. The emergency doctor told me it was a small stone and would pass. The urologist said that the stone will not pass and the only way to remove the stone would be through a procedure called Lithotripsy. Emily has an appointment with the urologist again in a couple of weeks and the procedure has been scheduled for the beginning of June.
