Emily is back in the hospital again with tummy troubles as well as with her respiratory needs. Please pray that her gut starts processing food correctly. Yesterday she woke with a very distended tummy again and seems that not much was getting digested. After being lethargic all day the doctor decided she should probably go to the hospital. The emergency department was totally inundated with everything from vomiting to a broken arm. And I cried when I saw how much pain that poor kid was in.
Emily was finally admitted and put into a room about 3am. The only perk to this was there were no sleeping couches left so they put her in a room that had 2 beds and they gave me one! Wow, I slept in a bed last night.... all 4 hours of it. I desperately need some sleep right now.
Emily's in a good mood this morning but still coughing and needing some suctioning. The plan for her tummy is to again give some rest and then try Pedialyte tomorrow.

So sorry. Quite envious of the bed though; camping out on a couch thing here myself. But at least I can be horizontal. Hoping that both girls are properly home soon.

I am so sorry to hear you are back in the hospital but what a blessing to have a bed to sleep in! The last time we were in the hospital. we shared a 3-bed room with another family and the third bed went unused all night. You guys are in our prayers!

but yay for mommy getting a bed! shall we also pray for no roommates, so you can keep the bed? : )

So sorry to hear that Emily is feeling so cruddy. Hoping that her tummy feels better soon!
So sorry to hear that you are back in the Hospital. I've really had you in my thoughts lately, perhaps it was God's way of prompting me to pray for you. So just know that both Emily and you are in my prayers. I will try to get down there tomorrow to visit if you'd like some company.
