It has been hot, really hot. Something like 90 outside today, and 88 in the kitchen where this thermometer is located.
I am SO thankful for fans. We have a few of them.
Kitchen
A couple of livingroom fans.
Bedroom
Hallway
And another bedroom fan.
I think are a couple more fans in the house but these are the ones that are working overtime today.
At least Emily is doing okay in this heat. However, like many children with disabilities, she does have heat intolerance. But we’ve been able to keep her temperature stable.
I feel so blessed that I’ve been able to keep her room cool and she’s fairly comfortable. Fans are truly a blessing.

We too have fans going almost 24 hours a day lately. I hate to see what our electric bill is going to be. I'm glad to hear that Emily is doing ok in the heat, it can be so hard on our children.
Hope we can connect this week sometime. Luke should be in Mary Bridge all day for a Baclafen pump trial on Wednesday. We will see if his pneumonia is finally gone tomorrow after I get his lungs x-rayed. I have my doubts, well just have to wait and see.
I hope and pray that Emily has recovered from her pain in the stomach that she had been having.
Love in Christ,
Suzi
Ugh, this heat is ick! My peanut has heat intolerances too. We have fans running all the time. Lately I've been getting washcloths damp and just rubbing her arms and legs with them to cool her off.
I got the cross you sent me. It is GORGEOUS! Did you make it??
Oh gosh, we just got home from a day at clinic appointments and we are in 98-102 temp here at our house. Even though the house was closed up it is hot in here. We might have to invest in an air conditioner....
Yes, the cross, I made it. I'm practicing with smaller thread and I've done two now with that size thread. I'm glad you like it.
