Thank you all for your wonderful support and prayers! Emily did so well yesterday. I was able to get her to a sitting position on the edge of her bed without too much discomfort.
Today she was doing well enough to travel home. The journey was uneventful and she was happy the entire time. Now she can rest and recuperate in the comfort of her own bed. The way things are going she will be feeling much better in a week or two. She’s already feeling better than she was the day before surgery.

Good news, happy to hear that Emily is home again. We pray that she will continue to recover and enjoy life again without pain!!!
How wonderful to be able to recoop in her own bed. That was always my favorite part about coming home. Praying she continues to do so well.
I am so glad that Emily was able to go home! I always believe that these kids recuperate so much better at home. Heck, we parents do too!
Thanks for the post on our blog. We are using Neurontin for the seizures. She has been on a low dose of Neurontin for years now, for gut hypersensitivity. The neuro raised the dose to a full epileptic dose, since we know she tolerates the drug with no side affects. I will update my blog soon, I was just too tired yesterday!!
